Finding Peace and Purpose Through Christ

For a long time, my life was defined by confusion. I wasn’t necessarily lost in the physical sense—I had a decent job, good friends, and a predictable routine—but inside, I felt restless. I woke up every day feeling like I was running on empty. Life felt like a treadmill—constant motion, but no real direction. I kept asking myself, “Is this all there is?”

I had heard the Gospel before. I even considered myself a Christian, at least on the surface. I went to church during holidays, said a prayer before bed, and tried to “be good.” But the truth is, I had never fully surrendered my life to Christ. I treated God more like a backup plan than the center of my life.

Everything started shifting the night I watched a livestream teaching from The Way Orha shared by a colleague. The message was simple: Jesus isn’t just the way to heaven; He’s the way through life. That hit me hard. The preacher talked about purpose—not in terms of career or success, but purpose in knowing Christ and living for Him daily.

“You’ll never know why you were created until you meet the One who created you.”

That sentence echoed in my mind for days.

I began following The Way Orha’s weekly devotionals and eventually signed up for their Counseling & Pastoral Care Ministry. It was there, through prayer, honest conversations, and Scripture study, that I began to understand the Gospel—not just as an idea, but as a living reality. I learned that peace isn’t found in perfect circumstances—it’s found in surrender. And I discovered that purpose isn’t about doing more—it’s about becoming who God created me to be.

Over the following months, I gave my life fully to Christ. I started each morning in the Word, committed to a virtual Bible study group, and began using my gifts to serve others. For the first time in years, I stopped chasing things that didn’t matter and started walking in truth.

“Christ didn’t just save me from my sins—He saved me from a life of wandering.”

Now, my days have meaning. I don’t have all the answers, and life isn’t suddenly perfect, but I walk with a peace that can’t be explained and a confidence that comes from knowing who I am in Christ.

If you’re reading this and feeling like your life lacks clarity or direction, know this: peace and purpose are not far off. They are found in Jesus. The Way Orha helped me find Him—and through Him, I found everything I was missing.
